The challenge

Find the real problem.

The agency needed a credible site and zero double-entry on Property Finder.

J&H Properties needed more than a brochure: searchable buy and rent inventory, off-plan pages, and agent-led enquiry flows for the Ras Al Khaimah market.

The critical requirement was brokerage platform integration — every listing on the site should stay in sync with Property Finder through API access hosted in the cloud, without agents re-keying the same property twice.

Listings lived in too many places

The agency site, Property Finder, and internal workflows could not drift apart — agents and marketing needed one inventory story buyers could trust.

Manual portal updates do not scale

Copy-pasting listings into Property Finder wastes time and creates stale or mismatched data when prices, status, or media change on the website.

Enquiry flow had to match how RAK buyers shop

Buy, rent, and off-plan journeys needed clear property pages, agent context, and WhatsApp or form leads — not a static brochure.

Integration had to run reliably in the cloud

Property Finder access needed secure API credentials, hosted sync logic, and a path to extend to other brokerage platforms later.

What we built

Connect the pieces.

A production agency site for J&H Properties with cloud-hosted Property Finder listing sync.

We shipped a Next.js and TypeScript listing experience for buy, rent, and off-plan inventory — then connected it to Property Finder so portal listings stay aligned with the site through API-driven sync on AWS.

The integration layer is the headline: one source of truth on the agency side, automated pushes and updates to Property Finder, and room to add more brokerage platforms without rebuilding the front door.

Agency listing site operators can run

Property search and detail pages, off-plan showcases, agent profiles, and area content — built for day-to-day marketing and lead capture in Ras Al Khaimah.

Property Finder API integration

Listings sync to Property Finder through authenticated API access — create, update, and retire inventory on the portal when the website record changes.

Cloud-hosted sync services

Sync jobs and integration endpoints run on cloud infrastructure so credentials, scheduling, and retries are managed outside the Next.js app — reliable enough for production brokerage ops.

Structured listing data in PostgreSQL

PostgreSQL holds the canonical listing model — media, pricing, status, and metadata — so the site and integrations read from the same records.

Lead paths buyers already use

WhatsApp handoffs and enquiry forms on property and agent pages connect interest to the team without forcing another CRM login on day one.

Extensible brokerage platform pattern

The architecture treats Property Finder as the first portal integration — the same pattern can host additional UAE and regional listing feeds as the agency grows.

What we learned

Better with every build.

Real estate sites win when portals and marketing share one inventory.

This project reinforced that agency software is part operations, part brand — and that Property Finder (and peers like it) deserve first-class integration, not an afterthought spreadsheet.

For agencies, portal sync is the product

Buyers discover on Property Finder; the website is where trust and detail live. Keeping them aligned is operational work worth automating.

When sync fails silently, agents lose time fixing duplicates and buyers see outdated stock — integration quality is as visible as the homepage design.

Host integration logic in the cloud, not in the browser

API keys, rate limits, and retry policies belong in server-side or worker services — not in client bundles.

Cloud-hosted sync gives you observability, scheduled reconciliation, and a clear place to add webhooks or second portals later.

One listing model powers site and portals

A single PostgreSQL schema for listings reduces drift between what marketing publishes and what integrations send upstream.

Status transitions — live, rented, sold — should flow to every channel from one update, not three manual edits.

Regional brokerage stacks reward incremental integration

Property Finder is the first win; the same agency often adds Bayut, Dubizzle, or internal CRM hooks over time.

Designing for one well-tested integration makes the next portal a bounded add-on instead of a rewrite.

Outcomes

A stronger foundation.

Delivered a production Next.js agency site with buy, rent, off-plan, agent, and area experiences tuned for J&H Properties.

Integrated Property Finder via cloud-hosted API sync so listing create/update flows keep the portal aligned with the website inventory.

Established a PostgreSQL-backed listing model and integration pattern ready for additional brokerage platforms as the agency scales.
